DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO 'RANCHO PACIFICA SUBDIVISION.. Take the I-5 to Highway 76-East, exit at Douglas (left turn off 76-East onto Douglas), continue on Douglas going North for 2 miles passing over the San Luis Rey River bridge, then immediately at other side of bridge turn right at stop light onto Old River St. which runs along the San Luis rey river. The trail access gates are within Rancho Pacifica subdivision on Old River Street by intersection of Douglas Blvd. & Old River St. (There are 27 homes in Rancho Pacifica built along the river trail that have private backyard access gates to the popular trail. This is rare and very desirable!
